Egg Donor Compensation Starts at $15,000

First-time donor compensation starts at $15,000, with higher compensation for repeat donors and select profiles. That is compensation only, not an all-in donor egg treatment price. Final compensation is confirmed in writing for each match and depends on experience, profile, and the specific arrangement.

What does “starts at $15,000” mean?

It is the starting point for first-time donor compensation at The Perfect Gene, not a guarantee of payment or a quote for every arrangement. Higher compensation may apply to repeat donors and select profiles. We do not publish a ceiling, average, or typical payment amount. The actual arrangement must be confirmed in writing for each match. A past donation does not automatically establish medical eligibility for another cycle. Your clinic decides medical suitability; the compensation discussion does not replace screening or informed consent.

What is separate from donor compensation?

Matching support, legal advice, screening, medications, clinic and laboratory care, and travel are separate costs. Any frozen-egg procurement, shipping, and storage charges also need their own written explanation from the relevant provider. Do not treat the starting compensation amount as the total cost of IVF or as an egg-bank inventory price. Ask who invoices each category, which items are included, and which costs remain unquoted. The full cost guide helps intended parents compare the same scope across providers without inventing a fee schedule.

Which terms should be in writing?

Confirm the amount, payment milestones, handling of approved expenses, and what happens if a cycle is postponed or cancelled. Ask about donor withdrawal, additional evaluation, and any rematch, credit, or refund provisions. These are separate questions; an encouraging headline does not answer them. Independent attorneys should explain the agreement and relevant legal questions. The fertility clinic decides screening and medical dates. The Perfect Gene provides matching support and administrative coordination, not medical or legal advice.

For intended parents and prospective donors

Intended parents can request a free, private consultation to discuss the matching process and separate budget categories. Bring general preferences and your chosen clinic's city and state if known. There is no commitment, and no medical or genetic details are needed in the request. Prospective donors should use the dedicated egg donor application, hosted on Jotform, rather than the intended-parent consultation form. Ask questions about the commitment and written terms before deciding whether to proceed. Applying does not guarantee a match or a payment.

    Common questions

Is $15,000 a guaranteed donor payment?

No. First-time donor compensation starts at $15,000. Final compensation is confirmed in writing for each match and depends on experience, profile, and the specific arrangement.

Is this the total cost for intended parents?

No. This is compensation only. Matching, legal work, screening, medications, clinic care, and travel are separate. Ask for an itemized estimate.

Is there a published upper limit?

No ceiling, average, or typical amount is published here. Higher compensation for repeat donors and select profiles is determined case by case.

Does this apply to buying frozen eggs?

This is a donor compensation starting point, not a frozen-egg inventory quote. A separate bank or clinic must confirm its procurement, release, storage, and shipping terms.
